Greg Thurmond, #29952, reports seeing a new Bud Light, by Anheuser-Busch, Houston, Texas. It was seen on Sept. 10, 1996 at Randall's Grocery Store in Houston, Texas. It is available in 12 oz. cans.
Additional description: The word "Texas" Appears with two stars on each side. Below in the banner listing the ingredients is a
larger star with the state of Texas logo in place of the AB logo. Four more small stars appear beneath the banner. Otherwise the can looks like a standard bud light can. Greg has singles available to trade.
Coors Beer has a 4 can Rodeo set out. It is the same as the 6 can set issued earlier this year, except 4 cans instead of 6 and on the new standard Coors can label. They are 12 oz. cans sold in 12 packs.... you get 2 of the 4 cans in each 12 pack. I have reports of the can being sold in several different states. Description of can - they shrunk the black diamond, moved the miller symbol from the bottom of the diamond corner to inside the diamond bottom. did away w/the shadow on bottom half of the word ice

Charles Bacon#8941, reports seeing Maryland's Best Lager Beer & Maryland's Best Light Beer, by the Stroh brewing CO, Baltimore, MD, d/b/a Specialty Brewing Company. It was seen in Mid-October of 1996 at very scattered locations throughout Maryland. They were available in 12 oz. cans.
Additional Coments: First and last cans ever from the Stroh Brewery in Baltimore which is closing by the end of 20 Dec 96. Obsolete on issuance and long gone from local retailers. They are attractive cans - picture of State of Maryland in green (lager) and white (light) with blue - blue crab on label. Text in red and blue. Background white (lager) and silver (light). Michelob Light by Anheuser-Busch Brewing Co. This can was found in 12 packs of Michelob Light Golf cans for 1996. Most 12 packs did not have it and none that I know of had more than 1 of these.

Description of can - top of the can has red ring with $2000 in cash prizes, back side has a picture of two deer (bucks), with big buck contest in center and a paragraph of info on the 1996 deer hunting season below.
