In the July-Septmeber 1997 edition of "What's New", I had a picture of Lord Chesterfield Beer with information that it was a short run can, but for unknown reasons. Above, on the left is this original can and on the right is the new label. As Warren Hardaker, #696, reported in the Oct/Nov 97 edition of "Beer Cans & Brewery Collectibles", the reason for the change was an error on the side panel paragraph of text. The first can mistakingly references 164 years of brewing (since 1829), which would date this can to 1993, not 1997. The new label changes this to 168 years, correctly dating the can to 1997.
